BMW M5 Nighthawk special edition revealed in Japan
Tue, 23 Jul 2013BMW has released a special limited edition of the M5 for the Japanese market called the Nighthawk. The special run of just 10 examples will feature a matte paint BMW calls "Frozen Black," which will extend to the 20-inch wheels fitted on the car. Other custom touches will include a blacked-out grille, with the Frozen black paint on a number of exterior details.

So when Jalopnik published some less than good looking photos of the new Jeep Cherokee yesterday, the PR machine at Jeep went in to overdrive to bring forward the release of official photos of the new Cherokee, to hopefully stem the less than flattering comments on the new Cherokee’s looks. It does get difficult when markets go mad, and currencies fall out of the normal range of values, for none more than the big car manufacturers whose products are sold around the world. The Japanese are really struggling with this at the moment, as the Yen has remained strong in relation to many western currencies, in particular the Pound.
