Driver receives 45 points in nine months

But what’s truly astonishing about this is that he ‘achieved’ the 45-point tally in just nine months, between 1 October 2012 and 20 June 2013 – and what’s more, he’s apparently still driving. Is BMW’s Project-i (i3 & i8) in trouble?

We’re not the biggest fans of the electric car, although we certainly see it has a place in our new world. But as a replacement for the ICE car it’s a non-starter.
GM continues work on fuel-saving engine technology

A technology called HCCI improves fuel economy 15 percent and releases fewer emissions by using a combustion process similar to what is used in diesel powerplants. General Motors continues work on the project, which could be applied across a range of engine sizes and used with other advanced fuel-saving technologies to help the company comply with the proposed new mileage and emissions targets announced Tuesday by President Barack Obama.
