Details:

You are looking at the Edge CS Monitor Mount by SSM. This mount is a super clean looking billet aluminum console mount that is designed to mount "YOUR" Edge CS Monitor in the factory overhead center console, located above the rear view mirror. The SSM Edge CS Monitor Mount is precision CNC machined from a solid piece of 6061 aluminum right here in the USA. We then give the aluminum some character and send it through the graining process, this gives the mounts face a slight brushed texture. We top that off with a protective black anodize plating, making it look good and providing added durability to make it last the test of time. This mount comes with two auxiliary rocker switches for any type of accessory, driving lights, fog lights, back up lights, etc. See our other auctions for other colors and models, available in black or silver finish, with or without switches.

The SSM Mount features a unique mounting system to hold the CS monitor in the mount. We use four stainless steel set screws positioned on the edges to hold the monitor securely in the mount. Our unique mounting system WILL NOT VOID YOUR EDGE WARRANTY LIKE OTHERS ON THE MARKET, BEWARE!! Other mounts require you to disassemble the monitor housing to install your monitor in there mount. DISASSEMBLING YOUR MONITOR WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY. Edge states right on the monitor "WARRANTY VOID IF OPENED"

Lamborghini LP700-4 (2011): the rolling chassis

Lamborghini continues the long drip-feed on the new V12 supercar replacement for the Murcielago with this first picture of the carbonfibre rolling chassis. In this week's edition of motor show teaser photography, Lamborghini has started with a naked LP700-4 chassis, prior to next week's reveal of the fully clothed new V12 supercar. You can clearly see the new pushrod suspension, the carbonfibre chassis, subframes snd the suitably enormous wheel and tyre package. None at this point. CAR's Gavin Green has driven one of the prototypes (see the January 2011 edition) but it will be at next week's 2011 Geneva motor show where the world gets its first clear look at the new Lamborghini.

Amid the launch of the third-generation Prius hybrid, Toyota Motor Corp. is taking a beating online and in court by owners who charge that some older models of the popular car have faulty headlights that can cost more than $1,000 to replace. Owners have complained to federal safety officials and in online chats that Prius' upgraded optional lights, known as high-intensity discharge headlamps, have a tendency to fail.

Mitsubishi Motors Corp. plans to kill its current lineup of U.S.-made vehicles, including the Eclipse sporty car and Endeavor crossover, over the next three years and switch to producing global vehicles at its Illinois plant, partly to target export markets. The current nameplates will be phased out by 2014 as part of the carmaker's “Jump 2013” mid-term business plan unveiled Thursday by president Osamu Masuko.
