Aston Martin downshifts in India
Fri, 15 Apr 2011India is becoming a spotlight market among luxury carmakers, and Aston Martin is the latest to join the fray, throwing open the doors on a new dealership on Friday. Aston enters the market in partnership with Performance Cars, which is a division of Infinity Cars Ltd. and which is expected to offer the British brand local expertise in India.

Just five Cinque Roadsters will be made, and with no roof, a 669bhp V12 engine, and a price tag broaching £1.1m (plus taxes) it's pretty special. Think again - and if Horacio Pagani wants to build 5 more gorgeous Cinques, this time without a roof so you can really hear that 7.3-litre V12 wail, then who are we to argue. There's a longer front spoiler, a flat undertray and diffuser, plus a new rear wing, all of which is enough to create the same 750kg of downforce at 186mph that Pagani claims for the coupe version.
Fisker Karma gets EPA certification
Thu, 20 Oct 2011Fisker Automotive received its U.S. Environmental Protection Agency certification this week, which means sales of the 2012 Karma sedan can begin. The Karma is a series plug-in hybrid, powered by a lithium-ion battery and a 2.0-liter range-extending gasoline engine.
