We’ve already had hot Punto and 500 Abarth road cars, the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse racer, and now there’s this, the Abarth 500 R3T rally car, unveiled at the San Remo Rally. Not quite.

General Motors to offer talking cars by 2016

GENERAL MOTORS has said that in two years it will offer cars that talk to each other and can almost drive themselves at highway speeds. The company said the semi-autonomous freeway system called Super Cruise will be an option on a new Cadillac that goes on sale in the summer of 2016. The company also plans to put vehicle-to-vehicle transmitters and receivers on all Cadillac CTS models during the same time-frame.

Rather than just unveiling the new Discovery Sport on the floor in Paris (which they did, with just the Sport on display on the first day), JLR commissioned a giant barge to accommodate the Sport on the River Seine, together with a very British support act in the guise of giant wellingtons.
