Mon, 13 Sep 2010By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 13 September 2010 12:09 Chevrolet has facelifted the Captiva SUV and will show the car in public for the first time at the 2010 Paris motor show as one of four world debuts. It's a modest refresh, with a new front end design, cabin upgrades and new engines and transmissions. The seven-seater SUV has been around since 2006 and is due a mid-life pick-me-up.

Wed, 30 Jun 2010Manufacturers have been trying to make their racers more economical for some time now; Audi and Peugeot have produced diesel Le Mans winners and CAR reviewed the Porsche GT3 R Hybrid in the June 2010 issue, but this the most recent fully electric offering from Norwegian company Think. Think has followed the traditional road-racer conversion for this one-off prototype, by stripping out most of the interior and space for the passenger, using Perspex instead of glass in the windows, installing a solitary lightweight bucket seat and lowering the centre of gravity. The company claims the diet reduces the Think's weight by nearly 70kg; that's the same saving as a Lamborghini Gallardo Superlegerra, remember.

Fri, 03 Sep 2010Chrysler's Dodge brand has released the first photos of the third generation Durango. Built on the same platform as the new Jeep Grand Cherokee, the latest iteration of the SUV features a unibody structure rather than the body-on-frame setup of its predecessors. The Durango has never been a particularly elegant offering within the Dodge lineup, but it seems the company is looking to change this perception with this latest incarnation.
