Oak Leaf Auto Salvage LLC warranties any part we sell to be free of any mechanical defects, cracks or broken pieces (unless listed as a core, for rebuild/parts, or stated otherwise) for 60 days from receiving the part. If the part fails under normal operating conditions Oak Leaf Auto Salvage LLC will exchange with a similar condition part, or if another part is not available, we will refund the purchase price and shipping. No warranty on labor under any circumstances. Part returns due to purchaser error such as failure to read the full listing title/description, failure to view all photos, purchasing the incorrect part, incorrect diagnosis, failure to correctly match your part with the item for sale, Failure to have current/correct shipping address updated (no P.O. Boxes), etc. will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. The purchaser will be responsible for return shipping and only the original item amount (not shipping cost) will be refunded minus the restocking fee. Mercedes-Benz to use inflatable rear seatbelts on new car
Fri, 20 Jul 2012Mercedes-Benz will begin equipping its cars with inflatable seatbelts for rear passengers, making it the second automaker to use the safety technology. Mercedes said the belt would be introduced on an upcoming luxury car. A likely candidate is the redesigned S-class sedan, which the German automaker is preparing to put into production next year.

Actually, whether to keep Maybach on the Daimler life support system is a question that has taxed the brains of many a Mercedes exec, almost since the Maybach brand got its revival under Mercedes and turned in to a cross between a stretched old S-Class, a Playstation and a glitterball. Because despite the efforts of Mercedes to position the Maybach above the S-Class – and in to competition with Rolls Royce and Bentley – the Maybach has somehow conspired to be less desirable than the S-Class.
