Saab 92 coming – it just needs a platform
Thu, 03 Jun 2010The original 1950s Saab 92 Victor Muller – the man who saved Saab from GM’s closure plans – wants the company to build a compact premium car, something we’ve know since before he managed to close the deal to take on the troubled Swede. Those who have to travel to get to work have lower life satisfaction, a lower sense that their daily activities are worthwhile, are less happy and have higher anxiety than non-commuters, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said. And the worst length of time to travel is between 61 and 90 minutes, according to the latest ONS report on commuting and personal well-being.
Toyota says Prius plug-in gets 65 mpg
Mon, 02 Feb 2009Toyota Priuses with plug-in hybrid technology are averaging 65 mpg in combined gasoline and electric-mode testing. By comparison, the redesigned 2010 Prius, a parallel hybrid with nickel-metal hydride batteries, will have an estimated 50 mpg rating.
