Land Rover Defender 90 Yachting Edition by Startech
Sun, 28 Nov 2010The Land Rover Defender 90 Yachting Edition by Startech Rather than it being a surprise that Startech has produced a cosmetically highly-specced version of the iconic Land Rover Defender, the surprise is that more tuning forms don’t do it. After all, the Defender is as iconic a 4×4 as you can get, enough to imbue it with coolness and desirability by right. Jaguar XFR & Jaguar XKR – UK Debut
Mon, 11 May 2009The Jaguar XFR - together with the Jaguar XKR - gets a UK début at MotorExpo 2009 in June The XFR and the XKR will both début at the London MotorExpo 2009, which takes place in Canary Wharf from 8-14 June. Which is probably the best venue Jaguar could come up with (apart from perhaps Salon Prive or the Top Gear Show) as we don’t have a Motor Show any more. Still, the plus is that MotorExpo is a free entry event, which helps, and Jaguar are expecting around 350,000 visitors, which is not too shoddy.

Thu, 14 Jul 2011General Motors issued a terse response this week to published comments by Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn, who suggested to the German press that Opel could be sold to a Chinese competitor. Detroit-based GM called Winterkorn's comments “regrettable” and accused him of “fanning speculation.” Opel was nearly sold to Magna and Russian investors in the wake of GM's 2009 bankruptcy. But then-CEO Ed Whitacre and the corporate board reversed that decision, igniting controversy from German political and labor leaders who have long chafed under American oversight.
