Synthetic diesel fuel powers 1,000 miles of Audi
Tue, 19 Oct 2010Audi began a 1,000-mile eco drive on Oct. 18 in a demonstration named "Eureka! Diesel Drives the Future." Two Audi A3 TDI test cars left Eureka, Calif., and headed south, filled with RenDiesel, a synthetic fuel from Rentech.

Florida rapper Rick Ross, whose label name is Maybach Music, may even have to find another marque to follow. Shawn Carter, aka Jay-Z, who recorded several songs singing the praises of Maybach, will have to find a new ride in which to be chauffeured.

Fri, 14 Jun 2013Peter Arcadipane has joined BAIC as its new design director. Based at its new hi-tech design facility in Beijing, China, he oversees a team of around 130 designers. The Australian designer, formerly of Mercedes-Benz, has been challenged to steer state-owned BAIC towards a more coherent and strategic position within China, with its chairman wanting to take the carmaker more upmarket.
