New Mercedes B-Class F-CELL in 2014 – more hydrogen cars plannedFri, 18 May 2012Mercedes B-Class F-CELL in use in Southern California Mercedes-Benz are planning to launch a hydrogen powered fuel cell version of the new B Class in 2014, with a larger fuel cell car also planned. The Mercedes B Class F-Cell – an electric car powered by a hydrogen fuel cell to charge the batteries – is already available for lease in Southern California, albeit at a not exactly everyday affordable $849 a month. Admittedly that does include all the hydrogen you can use, but it’s still probably three times what a regular B-Class would cost to lease. Rolls Royce Phantom Spirit of Ecstasy Centenary CollectionWed, 12 Jan 2011Rolls Royce Phantom Spirit of Ecstasy Centenary Collection We’re rather hoping Rolls Royce will stick to convention and not plaster the name of this limited edition Rolls Royce Phantom across the boot lid, because even the Rolls Royce Phantom would struggle to accommodate ‘Rolls Royce Phantom Spirit of Ecstasy Centenary Collection‘ in chromed lettering. But the catchy little moniker for this Limited Edition Phantom does at least tell the story. Rolls Royce are producing a run of 100 Phantoms to celebrate the centenary of the Spirit of Ecstasy, incorporating a suite of features inspired by Ecstasy and offering exclusive paint jobs, veneers and leather. Subaru XV gets another price cut – down by £2300 across the XV rangeMon, 01 Jul 2013The Subaru XV (pictured) gets a price cut of £2,300 across the range Over a year ago, Subaru launched the new XV in the UK with a starting point of £21,995, Which was decent value for an able Crossover/SUV. But by May of 2013, Subaru had decided there was room to play with the XV’s price – or at least on the 1.6 litre petrol version – and they announced a £1300 price drop for the entry-level petrol XV. But now, just six weeks later, Subaru has decided that the weakening Yen has given them more room to manoeuvre on price and have announced they’re cutting prices across the whole XV range by £2300 (which actually means £1,000 off the new price for the 1.6 litre petrol). 2040Parts.com © 2012-2023.
