Infiniti Emerg-e at 2012 Geneva motor show

Infiniti is ramping up the interest factor with the new Emerg-e hybrid sports car concept at the 2012 Geneva motor show. Imagine an Alfa Romeo 4C pepped up with a range-extender powertrain and you're not far from the truth. The Infiniti Emerg-e is a stunning little coupe, which draws on the 2009 Infiniti Essence supercar for inspiration.

Tesla Roadster Sport announced

The Tesla Roadster Sport will be available from the summer, for around €112K, and claims a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds, a 0.2 improvement on the existing Tesla Roadster. The extra power comes from fiddling with the stator in the motor and an increased winding density for less resistance (I’m sure that must make sense if you understand Electric Motors – I’m still stuck on the internal combustion engine – must keep up!). The Tesla Roadster Sport also gets Yokohama Ultra High Performance tyres and some suspension tweaks.

Mazda 6 facelift (2010) first official pictures

After 5 comes 6, so with the all-new Mazda 5 recently announced, up next is a revised version of the Japanese car company's family saloon. The facelifted Mazda 6, like the 5, will be unveiled at the 2010 Geneva motor show in March. The front and rear lights have been tweaked, and the 6's nose now features a huge, Insignia-aping slash of chrome across the grille.
