Coventry Selected Works Show 2008

Coventry University's ‘Selected Works' show, held from Monday 23 to Sunday 29 June in the Transport Museum in Coventry, UK, showcased an array of projects created by students in the MDes Transport Design, BA Transport and Product Design, BA Automotive Design and BA Boat Design progams. Here are a selection of their projects. A clearer version of the Bugatti invitation - showing a new four-door Veyron? And now Pistonheads has got hold of a clearer version of the invitation – the one you see above. It doesn’t really show a lot more, but you can clearly make out eight exhausts and what seems to be a thin strip of brake lights running down a split rear screen.

Last Lexus LFA in Europe gets delivered

The last Lexus LFA to be delivered to a European customer has now arrived with its owner in Switzerland bringing to an end the Lexus supercar adventure. It took another year for Lexus to start building the LFA at the Motomachi Plant, Aichi Prefecture and a further two years for the plant to finish building the 500 LFAs planned, with the last LFA being built in December last year. Despite the last LFA rolling out in December it’s taken until today for the last LFA bound for a European customer to be delivered, with its new owner taking delivery in Switzerland.
