1/2" They were left by the previous owner on my 27' tanzer, believe they were for towing. As it had hitch points on the front for a main shackle. Also I supposed it could make a good moring point, to say a concrete block if one had to shackle their boat to it with anchor line. I don't know the exact strength, but I think its' fair to say half inch stainless steel braid is pretty darn strong and weather resistant. Please view the pictures. I believe this was for towing, but I never used it for much of anything and some how it ended up on my small boat before my sail boat was vandalized and sunk. So I am selling off, what I have left of the thing.
Its' quite heavy, so expect shipping to be some what pricey. Although, I think it will go Parcel Package under 70LBS so unless you need it ASAP it should be reasonable unless you are of the 48 continental united states. |

A14 expansion 'could break emissions laws'
Wed, 16 Oct 2013PLANS for tackling congestion on a busy A-road could leave the Government in breach of legal limits for air pollution, according to the Campaign for Better Transport (CBT). The CBT is warning that the Government's £1.5 billion A14 corridor in East Anglia would not only significantly worsen air pollution across a wide area; it could actually push a number of locations above current EU legal limits. The Government's proposal to tackle congestion within the A14 corridor includes widening parts of the A14 and the A1 and building a new dual carriageway around Huntingdon.
