The last Jaguar XK – the Jaguar XK Dynamic R The Jaguar XK is the oldest car in Jaguar’s model lineup and the last real remnant of ‘old’ Jaguar. And it’s about to cease production. Jaguar has announced the XK will end production this summer as sales fall away and the XK struggles to make sense against the new Jaguar F-Type, a situation that will only worsen when the F-Type Coupe starts to arrive in customer hands.

It's the Hyundai i40 Saloon for Europe As we reported last week – after Hyundai had, rather pointlessly, teased us with an image – the European version of the Hyundai i40 saloon is about to launch at the Barcelona Motor Show. So we have details, although much of what we have is what we already know from the Hyundai i40 Estate. What we do know is that the European  i40 – whatever guise it comes in – seems a fine car and a real threat to the sector domination by the Ford Mondeo and VW Passat.

Australian Grand Prix 2012 - McLaren were on pole (image Sky F1) Qualifying at the 2012 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne saw Hamilton on pole with Button alongside. But did it stay like that? Qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix saw the dominance of the Red Bulls set aside for the first time in a couple of years, as Webber and Vettel were pushed down to the third row behind a McLaren front row and former world champion Michael Schumacher alongside the Lotus of Grosjean in row two.
