The Potenza RE050 RFT is Bridgestone's Max Performance Summer run-flat tire developed exclusively for specific Audi, BMW, Maserati and Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The tire is designed to provide temporary extended mobility for a distance of 50 miles at up to 50 mph even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss. Bridgestone developed the Potenza RE050 RFT to provide good traction along with responsive and predictable dry and wet road handling. And even though Cars UK weren’t there we still think we should let you know what won what so you can see if you agree. The overall winner and Auto Express Car of the Year for 2011 was the Range Rover Evoque.

McLaren P1: The Bahrain Photo Shoot

On a tour of the Middle East – and ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show – the McLaren P1 has been photographed at the Bahrain International Circuit. That drip of information has included everything from the development version of the P1 on video, the first view of the instruments on the P1 and, most recently, the first interior photos of the P1. Now, whilst McLaren are busy touring the P1 round the Middle East, they’ve taken the opportunity to get a new set of stunning photos of the McLaren P1 at the Bahrain International Circuit showing the P1 in a set of beautifully lit and shot photos.

Is the Citroen DS6 on its way after all?

The Citroen Numero 9 Concept (pictured) perhaps previews the new DS6 There have been very strong hints from Citroen for some time that the end of the Citroen C6 wasn’t the end of bigger Citroens, even if big Citroens have a history of only really selling well in France. That always made sense because Citroen now has a new market that appreciates bigger cars, particularly bigger cars that have smaller engines, and that’s China. We thought a DS6 was on its way in 2012 when  Citrone revealed a teaser photo on its Facebook page.
