The Billet Dynalite caliper is powerful, compact and super lightweight. Advanced computer engineering keeps this caliper extremely rigid, resulting in incredible brake torque at a bare minimum in weight, starting at 2.66 pounds. Internal fluid crossover eliminates external tubes and the four position, two-piece bleed screws allow for convenient mounting and easy bleeding. The Billet Dynalite uses standard quick change Dynalite pads, deep cup stainless steel pistons and high temperature seals, and has a black anodized finish. The time proven Dynalite caliper design is stronger and lighter than ever - ideal for Late Models, Modifieds, Sprints, Road Racers and Dragsters.

But just a few months later it seemed clear that we would end up getting a 4WD Polo R at some point after Audi lost its bottle at the last minute and pulled the Audi S1 badge off a FWD A1, instead calling it the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI. That change of heart by Audi – saving the S1 badge for a quattro S1 – meant that a quattro platform would be developed for the S1, and as the A1 uses the Polo platform it meant a 4WD platform would be available for the Polo too.
Eight hot rods compete for Ridler Award in Detroit

Judges have selected eight vehicles--dubbed the Great 8--as finalists for the coveted Ridler Award that will be presented Sunday evening at the show's conclusion. We’ve asked many times why makers of electric cars seem to believe that their batteries will continue to hold the same amount of charge as they age, especially as every battery powered gadget we’ve ever owned loses its ability to hold the same charge as every month passes, and becomes pretty useless after a couple of years hard use. But we’ve never had a sensible answer.
