10"  Torque Converter, Chevelle, Chevy, GM Truck. From the Estate of Motor Head master mechanic who was known to rebuild 1964-1967's 1970's  Chevelle and other chevy cars. Also 1967-1972 GM Trucks. I am Not an expert on these parts. I have described them to the best of my ability. The side view of the new BMW i3 electric vehicle takes some getting used to, with no two windows the same size or shape. The i3 is high-waisted through the front door and then there's a notch for a taller rear-passenger window and the rear-hinged rear door and a narrow, tapering window at the rear quarter. Yet when you look at the underlying structure -- made of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic -- an innovative choice for a mass-produced car -- there's a giant side opening from front to rear.

Nissan design chief Shiro Nakamura talks style with AW

Nissan's design chief Shiro Nakamura stopped by One AutoWeek Tower on Friday afternoon during his visit to Detroit to share some insight on current and future styling trends for his company. Nakamura, who is best known to enthusiasts for his work on the GT-R, says the current state of design is relatively strong, and the business may be on the verge of another golden age. Nissan is also pondering the look of a version of the Leaf for its luxury Infiniti brand.
