You need this adapter if purchased a straight O2 Extender / Spacer and do not have the room to install it. This will allow you to install your Extender / Spacer at most any angle that you want. You just install this adapter, turn it the way you want it, lock it in place with the supplied locking nut, and install your straight spacer into it. You need the straight spacer also. A short one will do fine. 18 X 1.5 MM male / female thread. Easy to install and much more reliable than an electrical or electronical device.
