MINI Paceman Coooper S hits the Nurburgring (video)

Sat, 21 Jul 2012

The next MINI to hit showrooms – the MINI Paceman – has been caught testing at the Nurburgring ahead of a Paris Motor Show. We did think that the MINI Paceman – which arrived at the Detroit Auto Show last year as a concept – would make it to market as a Countryman Coupe. But just last month MINI let it be known that they’re actually going with the funkier Paceman rather than the descriptive, though predictable, MINI Countryman Coupe for the production version of the Paceman which will debut in production guise at the Paris Motor Show in September.

2008 EyesOn Design Awards

Wed, 23 Jan 2008

I was once told that the EyesOn Design Awards was initially conceived as an award by which a vehicle would be judged by visually-impaired individuals. The prerequisite for winning was that the beauty of a vehicle would have to be determined solely through the medium of touch. Bahrain Grand Prix (2012) RESULT

Sun, 22 Apr 2012

Bahrain F1 Grand Prix 2012 With Red Bull and McLaren filling the front two rows  of the grid in the Bahrain Grand Prix, will we see normal business resume for F1? From a mix and match grid at the first three grand Prix of the 2012 season, we see Vettel back on the front row – and on pole – with Hamilton alongside and Webber and Button behind in Bahrain. So it’s reasonable to expect a return to the sort of result in Bahrain we’re used to in F1.
