Saab bidding closed, buyer announced soon
Tue, 28 Feb 2012We should know the buyer of Saab soon The Swedish press have been told that the bidding on Saab has now closed and that the successful buyer will be announced shortly. It’s amazing how much interest – and speculation - there is around the demised Saab; so much so we’ve probably reported as much on Saab after its demise as we did when it was in the throes of turmoil. Saab’s administrator, Hans Bergqvist, has revealed that the bidding process is now closed and that he will be talking to Saab stakeholders to discuss the bids and confirm which of the number of bidders is successful.

Hydrogen cars to storm London
Fri, 04 Apr 2014A CONSORTIUM of car makers, infrastructure suppliers and energy consultancies has signed an exciting new agreement to turn hydrogen-powered cars into an everyday reality. The pioneering deal, dubiously named the HyFIVE project (Hydrogen For Innovative Vehicles), is the largest of its kind in Europe. The five manufacturers have agreed to deploy a total of 110 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles at several European locations and develop new clusters of hydrogen refuelling stations – and London is high on the list of targets.
