The OEM fuel tank equipped on every vehicle is made to last the life of the vehicle and for everyday use. However, for racing purposes, it is overly large and heavy. That is where aluminum fuel cells/tanks come in. They are smaller, mountable in different locations and It is filled with an open-cell foam core to prevent explosion of vapor in the empty portion of the tank and to minimize sloshing of fuel during competition that may unbalance the vehicle or cause inadequate fuel delivery to the motor (fuel starvation).

For ease of installation, we also have included our braided fuel line kit to adapt to your existing fuel system. The braided cover greatly increases the resistance of the hose to internal pressure and retains it form. These will adapt any 10an fitting tank down to a 6an fuel line and includes 6 different fittings for the perfect fit.

Most modern fuel injected vehicles run a fuel pump in the tank and run much more fuel than it is needed to the fuel rail. A regulator keeps a certain amount of fuel pressure in the rail and then sends the rest back to the tank. However, tuners upgrade the air intake system as well as the exhaust system and often neglect that more fuel is needed to make those mods perform at their full potential. This Fuel Pressure Regulator is adjustable so you can tune the fuel pressure to your needs.

    The Chrysler Group plans to spend $300 million to build a new eight-speed automatic transmission licensed from ZF Group, a transmission maker headquartered in Friedrichshafen, Germany. The investment will pay for installation of special tooling and equipment at Chrysler's Transmission Plant 1 and Kokomo Casting Plant in Indiana and help retain 1,200 jobs there, Chrysler said Wednesday.
