Return policy details:All AKMI Corporation replacement parts are warranted to be free of defects, in material and workmanship when used under normal service and conditions. AKMI Corporation’s Warranty policy extends to 12 months, 100,000 miles (160,934 kilometers) or 1,200 hours whichever occurs first, or 16 months from date of purchase. AKMI will only honor warranty claims within this time frame. AKMI Corporation’s Warranty will cover (replace free of charge or pay for) labor and parts needed to repair the damages directly resulting from a warranty failure. AKMI Corporation must be notified about these claims: 1) short shipments within 20 days of receiving product at its final destination; 2) price discrepancies within one week of receiving invoice, for AKMI to honor the claim. Orders cancelled after shipment will be subjected to a 15% restocking free and applicable freight, regardless of situation.
The customer must notify AKMI Corporation before filing a warranty claim and/or any repair work is performed (AKMI Corporation must approve any work prior to repair). All warranty claims must be in writing and AKMI Corporation reserves the right to examine every single engine or part subject to a claim under this warranty (with a Return Authorization Number). The price of parts will be based on AKMI Corporation’s current price list, price paid by customer or other accepted suppliers at AKMI Corporations option. Cost of labor will be of reasonable hourly flat rate (AKMI Corporation’s option). Hours to repair warranty are based on published Standard Repair Operation guideline manual or actual hours (AKMI Corporation’s option). Overtime or holiday rates are not accepted.
AKMI Corporation is not responsible for any failure resulting from Owner of Operator abuse, neglect, alteration of its original specifications, exposure to weather conditions or damage by accident. AKMI Corporation is not responsible for improper repair or installation and/or parts that have been altered. AKMI Corporation does not warranty parts provided at no-charge basis. AKMI Corporation will not assume any responsibility for loss of time or labor for any warranted parts. AKMI Corporation is not responsible for unrelated or unauthorized repairs made at time of warranty repair, “down time” expenses, business cost or losses from a warrantable failure. This warranty is provided solely to direct customers of AKMI Corporation and do not imply to any other party. It is the only agreement of obligation for AKMI Corporation. AKMI Corporation shall not be held liable for consequential damages resulting from a breach of warranty. This is the sole warranty of parts manufactured and sold by AKMI Corporation. What promises to be one of the most significant automotive-museum openings in decades will take place next month when collector Peter Mullin opens the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Calif. Mullin is known for his love of French cars, and the museum will have more than 100 of them. Italian design and engineering firm Bertone is in talks with a Chinese car collector to sell its one-off Nuccio supercar. "We are currently in close negotiations with a Chinese collector who wants to buy the Nuccio," Bertone CEO Marco Filippa told Automotive News Europe at the Beijing motor show. The asking price for the Nuccio, which took an estimated 15,000 hours to design, engineer and build, is about $2.64 million (2 million euros), Filippa said.
