LISTED UP FOR SALE IS A FORD MODEL A ENGINE THAT WAS REBUILT SOME YEARS AGO. I BOUGHT IT FROM A MAN THAT STATED HE HAD REBUILT IT BUT I THINK HE JUST REPLACED THE PARTS THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THERE ARE FOUR VALVES THAT WERE REPLACED AND THE RINGS WERE REPLACED AND THE PISTONS ARE GOOD AND TIGHT. THE VALVES HAVE THE FORD SCRIPT ON THE TOP OF THEM. THIS ENGINE LOOKS REALLY GOOD. THE NUMBER ON THE SIDE OF THE BLOCK ARE A2428893. I TOOK DETAILED PICTURES OF THE MOTOR SO YOU ARE BUYING IT AS IS IN THE PICTURES. THE HEAD LOOKS GOOD ALSO. THE OIL PAN DID HAVE SOME OIL RESIDUE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN BUT WILL CLEAN OUT. I DO HAVE A WHOLE GASKET KIT FOR THE MOTOR .IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO ASK. Instead of being lazy and just divvying up a new arty photo of the new Civic once a week for a month, Honda are going the Jaguar XJ school of car teases (just in smaller numbers). Which means proper detail with each tease and some proper thought in the presentation.
