The new X3 goes on sale in June 2014, costing from £31k. The X3 has an all-diesel line-up, teamed with either a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic.

Kia wil preview the Kia Ray Concept plug-in hybrid at the Chicago Motor Show next month Yes, the Detroit Motor Show is only just about done, but waiting in the wings is the rather less fancy Chicago Motor Show (although they probably won’t thank us for describing it as such). But despite Chicago being a lower key affair than Detroit they will still get their share of new stuff. We reported just over a week ago that it was starting to look very likely that the new Honda NSX would bow in as a concept at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2012. And now Acura US – Honda’s posh brand in the States – has confirmed the NSX will arrive as expected.
