If you want something cheaper that is crooked cracked welded or bent, don't buy this, it is too Nice. Available is a 1940 Ford Factory Original Front Frame Cross Member, in excellent condition, no cracks, no welds, no pitting, just smooth steel with a thin coat of black paint.  This should also fit 1936  thru 1939 Ford Frames, possibly also 1935 frames.  Cross member has been removed by drilling out the existing hot rivets carefully. It was cleaned, and painted ready for reuse and stored away.  This peice is not going to be used due to sale of all the other parts. Cross member is 7 inches wide at the ends, 5 inches in the middle where the spring clamps.  Center spring mount hole is nice and Square. Motor mount holes are centered 20 inches apart.  Please ask questions if needed,no warranty is implied. Buyer pays Fed Ex shipping. weight about 20 lbs.

Subaru recalls 2011 Legacy, Outback models for moonroof fix

Subaru is recalling 69,590 copies of the 2011 Legacy and Outback because of a problem with the moonroof. The glass has been known to loosen and detach from the roof while driving, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. NHTSA says that the adhesive between the glass and the retainer was inadequately applied.

The McLaren 650S has been revealed ahead of its official debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month. The new model is based on the existing 12C and McLaren says that it bridges the gap between that car and its P1 ‘hypercar’. Prices start at £195,000 for the 650S coupe and £215,000 for the convertible 650S Spider and represent a premium of about £20,000 over the equivalent 12C and 12C Spider models.

GM stops works on electric version of Opel Adam

Work has stopped on a planned electric version of the Opel Adam minicar due to high costs. The project had progressed to the development of a working car using technology from the upcoming Chevrolet Spark EV minicar. "It was a business decision," said Dieter Metz, Opel's chief engineer for the Adam.
