We have accumulated several radio deletes in our shelved antique car radio collection.  This is example supposed to be 1937 or 1938 Chevrolet radio delete, filler for the dash when no original radio is installed.  Great for making the dash look finished to excellence when you are not going to the expense to install an original antique/classic radio in your old car.  This version is cast pot-metal single piece with painted surface over original still excellent chrome plating showing a small Chevy emblem in the center with black & white painted background.  Originally painted (dark tan) with chrome stripes and Chevy emblem centered; actually much nearer original excellence than showing in the picture.   Installation hardware is NOT included.  We don't have enough Chevrolet experience from these years to know for sure if this is for 1937 or 1938 Chevy or both, so research your application before bidding.

E-Mail questions.  PayPal available and required by me from bid winner outside the U.S.A.  Winner pays $3.00 USPS 1st Class S&H and $1.00 Insurance within Continental U.S.A.  Outside the U.S. e-Mail with complete delivery address (not just country) for shipping calculation.  Returns only allowed for items delivered not as described in the listing.  We always try to combine multiple purchases to save the bidder on shipping charges.
NOTE: in another of our current listings you will find another similar radio delete likely for the very same application; but the other is tin not pot-metal as this one; and the other is in warn out finish condition which should be restored.

Official: Renault & Caterham to build Alpine sports cars

Mon, 05 Nov 2012

Renault has confirmed it is to partner with Caterham to build a range of Alpine sports cars in Dieppe from 2015. The partnership between Renault and Caterham is a logical extension of their F1 partnership but now, with the joint venture to produce their own sports cars, goes much deeper than the almost badge-engineering Williams Renaults. A new company - Société des Automobiles Alpine Caterham – will be jointly owned by Caterham and Renault and will develop models in small and large volumes to be marketed as both Renault Alpine and Caterham, and will be built in Renault’s Dieppe factory that currently churns out Renaultsport models for the road and track, and is the historical home of Alpine.

Zagato & CPP in Joint Venture. Really, they are.

Bentley Zagato - the catalyst for the CPP Zagato deal A couple of weeks ago we reported that CPP – owners of Spyker and Bowler – has quitely gobbled up Milanese Car Design Studio Zagato at some point in 2010. Which made sense. It made sense because it is CPP that builds many of the Zagato cars you can think of.
