12V Led Tail Light Insert Kit (1) Here is a your chance to update your tail lights with the new led technology. These 12 volt tail lights have 37 super bright red leds and 14 amber leds. All of the red leds light up for tail lights and all get brighter for stop/turn/. The amber leds are on a different wire. You could wire them for either. They have show quality chrome die cast metal bezels. They are 2 3/4" x 5 3/4" with studs that are 5" apart. They are 3/4" thick (not counting the molded rubber gasket). They are epoxy sealed units. You can use the 1157 style socket insert or cut it off and wire them direct. We sell the 2 pin led flasher you will need. The led's are instant on and off. Almost unnatural! Low current so they run cool. Tremendous life span. This listing is for 2 inserts, bezels and gaskets as shown. Lots of neat stuff in the Classic Car Goodies Store (currently over 1,000 items!). Thu, 28 Nov 2013The last 2013 MINI rolls off MINI’s production line It’s only ten days since the all new 2014 MINI was revealed, but already production of the current MINI – launched in 2006 – has ended at MINI’s production plant in Oxford. It’s hard to believe, but the current generation of the MIN I has sold over 1 million around the globe in the seven years since it launched, and the BMW MINI – since its re-birth in 2001 – has shifted a grand total of 1,863,289 MINI hatches and 2.4 million MINIs have been built in Oxford since 2001. When the current, 2nd generation BMW MINI, was launched in 2006, it brought with it new turbocharged engines and suspension tweaks to make sure the then ‘new’ MINI continued to offer all the things that make MINI special, but in a more grow-up way.

We know that people are shying away from ultra expensive and powerful cars at the moment, but the idea of an Aston Martin that was cheap to run and very, very small seemed a step to far. But once we got our heads round it the idea made more sense.
