This auction is for a 1940 Chevrolet Hood Ornament. Unfortunately I can not see the part number. I am not sure what model this fits, it may fit other years or models as well but I am not sure so please make sure it is correct for your application before buying. This one has some minor pitting and the chrome is worn on most of the part as you can see in the pictures. A really rare find. It could be used as is on a driver type of car or restore it for show car use. Not broken, cracked or otherwise damaged. This is a good find for a rare part ! Sold As Is, As Shown. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, Thanks

I am happy to ship oversea's, and if you purchase multiple parts from me I will put them all in one box, saving you on shipping cost. Canada still offers surface parcel international for oversea's delivery. Please note that every country's postal system is different and handles packages differently. If you are oversea's and choose surface parcel it can take 4 - 8 weeks to reach you. Delivery to the US generally takes 10 - 14 days. I ship things the cheapest way possible. If you would like or require faster service please let me know, I can ship Fed-Ex. They are faster, but they are more money than the post office. I have no control over how long the post office takes to deliver. For shipping to England & Australia I have listed surface mail, the cheapest way I can send them. Insurance and a tracking number are included. Air mail is available to England & Australia at an additional cost. Please Ask.

Sat, 27 Feb 2010

The Honda CR-Z Hybrid gets the Mugen treatment Honda are trying to tell anyone who will listen that the Hybrid Honda CR-Z is a modern version of the Honda CRX. We haven’t actually come across anyone who buys in to the idea, but Honda aren’t giving up on the marketing pitch of the Honda CR-Z as the first ‘Sporty’ hybrid with the production version of the CR-Z debuting at Geneva next week.

Are laser-powered cars in our future?

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

We have no shortage of ideas here in the United States about how to power our cars. We’ve seen gasoline and electricity, and we’ve heard about fuel cells powered by water. The nuclear option is the only thing left to discuss.

By Tim Pollard Motoring Issues 22 July 2014 08:59 The new August 2014 issue of CAR magazine has a stunning, eight-page photoshoot on the Aston Martin DP-100 concept car. We met its makers and spent a day with the amazing mid-engined supercar – where we learned the following nuggets. ‘One of the phrases that we like to use is “out of chaos, something arises,”’ said design director Marek Reichman.
