Nissan opens new North American design studio
Wed, 30 Mar 2005Nissan Design America Inc. has opened a new design studio in Farmington Hills, Michigan, on the grounds of Nissan Technical Center North America. The $14 million investment represents an expansion of Nissan's design capabilities in Farmington Hills as well as a shift in design capabilities.

But the fervor will rise again as the car gets a public debut at the Geneva motor show next week. To remind us how good the all-wheel-drive FF is, with its 660-hp V12, Ferrari released a video showing the four-seater going where most owners would not dream of taking it--on snowy roads and through the desert.

Since the 40th show in 2007, the car world has changed economically, politically and technologically. Even the show itself has suffered a pitiful transformation, stripped to just the Japanese firms after the European and American car makers block voted with their feet and jilted the show to save cash.
