Condition:Used Brand:1941 FORD SUPER DELUXE PASSENGER CAR Manufacturer Part Number:THESE ARE REALLY HARD TO FIND TODAY.

THIS SALE IS FOR THE USED ORIGINAL 1941 FORD SUPER DELUXE STEERING WHEEL CENTER ORNAMENT WITH HORN RING SHOWN.  THESE 1941 HORN RINGS HAVE BEEN DIFFICULT TO FIND AND VERY EXPENSIVE SINCE I STARTED LOOKING FOR THEM IN THE EARLY 1970S.  THIS ONE HAS CHROME THAT IS SHOWING ITS AGE AND THE USUAL CRACK WHERE SOMEONE "LEANED ON THE HORN".  THIS HORN RING COULD BE EASILY "REPAIRED" BY WRAPPING A TINY STAINLESS STEEL SLEEVE TO COVER THE CRACK.  THIS ONE SHOULD BE GOOD ENOUGH TO INSTALL A SLEEVE AND REPAINT THE BROWN AREAS AND USE IT WITHOUT REPLATING FOR A DRIVER QUALITY CAR.  THE HORN WIRE  IS STILL QUITE NICE AND CAN BE USED AS IS.  PLEASE STUDY THE PHOTOS TO SEE FOR YOURSELF.   SALES TAX WILL BE ADDED TO ALL SALES WITHIN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

WATCH MY LISTINGS OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS FOR REALLY RARE AND HARD TO FIND ITEMS.  I WILL BE LISTING FOR SALE A NUMBER OF 1941 TO 1948 FORD AND MERCURY PARTS WHICH I HAVE BEEN SAVING FOR MANY YEARS.

Drivers fail car insurance test

Mon, 11 Mar 2013

On a 10-question, multiple-choice test asking respondents to choose correct definitions for basic auto insurance terms, the average score was 32 percent out of a possible 100 percent, according to insurance.com. The test group included 500 drivers of all ages and from various regions of the United States, but apparently no matter what the details, nobody really knows much about car insurance. When broken down into demographic segments, women outscored men by about 8 percentage points on average, and drivers in the south beat out those in the northeast by 10 percentage points.

Infiniti G Convertible

Mon, 24 Nov 2008

The second-generation Infiniti G37 coupe - badged Nissan Skyline in Japan - was previewed by the Coupe Concept at the 2006 NAIAS show and debuted in production form at the 2007 New York Auto Show. Now, at the 2008 LA Auto Show, the convertible version has appeared with a three-part folding hardtop, following BMW's lead with the conceptually similar 3-Series cabriolet. Powered exclusively by a 3.7-liter V6, the G37 convertible comes with a specification that includes leather seats, a 'power walk-in' device that electrically moves the front seats out of the way to help ingress and egress to the rear, and air-conditioning that automatically detects whether the roof is up or down.

MINI Paceman Coooper S hits the Nurburgring (video)

Sat, 21 Jul 2012

The next MINI to hit showrooms – the MINI Paceman – has been caught testing at the Nurburgring ahead of a Paris Motor Show. We did think that the MINI Paceman – which arrived at the Detroit Auto Show last year as a concept – would make it to market as a Countryman Coupe. But just last month MINI let it be known that they’re actually going with the funkier Paceman rather than the descriptive, though predictable, MINI Countryman Coupe for the production version of the Paceman which will debut in production guise at the Paris Motor Show in September.
