Up for bid is a complete and original 1948-1949 Studebaker Philco model # S4627.  This is radio
is complete save for two missing knobs.  It is solid and in great shape.  The radio dial indicator is white in colour
and the radio dial does not move it.  The on/off volume knob works and the buttons stick occasionally.  The chrome
radio face is in great shape and the radio window is scratch free.

Whether it is rebuilt or just used to fill the vacancy in your Studebaker this is a great piece.

Lexus LFA supercar is sold out, Toyota says

Toyota has sold all 500 copies of the Lexus LFA supercar that it plans to build. Toyota will build only 20 copies of the 552-hp two-seater per month for a two-year period beginning in December. Each car carries a $375,000 base sticker price.

Woody checks out the Peugeot 5008 Peugeot are planning a big advertising splash in Europe, and have teamed up with Pixar/Disney to use well known characters from the Toy Story films in the ads, which are due to roll out across Europe from this week. The firts advert up is  for the Peugeot 5008, a more than competent people shifter from Peugeot (in fact those nice people at Peugeot are due to send us one soon, so look out for a proper in-depth review and road test on the 5008 as we spend a week with it). The advert uses Woody looking for his Cowboy hat to give the excuse to show every nook and cranny and seat shifting trick the 5008 can manage.

From the B-pillar forward its Pontiac G8, but on the back there’s a 6ft pick-up bed and the suspension has been beefed up to the take the expected loads and tows. Under the bonnet is the same 6.0-litre V8 used in the G8 GT, delivering 361bhp and 385lb ft, but Active Fuel Management and a six-box auto ‘box should keep the as-yet unstated fuel economy affordable.
