This Is A Very Scarce 1949 - 1951 Ford Convertible Top Switch Handle, Rod, And Dash Mounting Bracket! It came off a 1950 but I believe it fits all three years of "shoe box" Fords listed. I also have the top pump, a  good solid frame for this vehicle, a set of top irons, and the rear seat side panels. Inquire if you need any of these other items and do not see them listed on ebay.  The pictures pretty well tell the story so look them over carefully and feel free to ask any questions PRIOR TO BIDDING! A set fee of $14.95 applies for shipping to all lower 48 states so please factor that into your bidding! Full payment is required within 7 days of auction's end! We are selling an unrestored 1950 Ford convertible, a 1950 and a 1951 Ford Woody, and three 1949 - 51 coupes!!! Check out Vanderbrink auctions for pictures and details! Thank You For Your Interest And GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whos Where: Pierre Castinel is Head of Design at Tata

Wed, 02 Apr 2008

Indian automaker Tata has been front page news often in recent times, first because of the impressive one-lakh Nano, which changes the automotive industry playing field, and most recently because of its acquisition of Jaguar and Land Rover from Ford's Premiere Automotive Group for the tidy sum of $2.3 billion - less than half what Ford paid for both companies in 1989.  At the helm of Tata's design efforts is Pierre Castinel, Head of Design. Though only officially announced in March this year, Castinel has been active at Tata since he left Renault in summer 2007, a company he worked at for 20 years. Castinel started as a modeler for Peugeot and worked there for three years.
