Citroen C-XR concept (2014) first official pictures

It's a compact SUV (what else, these days) that's taller and more stout-looking then the cheeky little C4 Cactus lightweight. Officially a concept car, but looking only a set of numberplates away from showrooms, the C-XR is especially notable for being the first SUV co-developed between Citroen and its Chinese brand partner, Dongfeng motor corp.

Citroen C4 Aircross

The sister car to Peugeot's 4008, the C4 Aircross is Citroen's attempt at injecting its DNA into a SUV. We say 'injecting' because, as with its predecessor the C-Crosser, this car comes from a joint venture between PSA and Mitsubishi and – if you look closely – you'll see this car shares its roots with the Mitsubishi ASX.
