CHRYSLER ASHTRAY

I BELIEVE THIS IS A GOOD UNRESTORED ASHTRAY FROM A 49 50 CHRYSLER.  IT HAS THE PATINA ONLY FATHER TIME AND MOTHER NATURE CAN PROVIDE.  THERE IS SOME TINY PITTING IN THE GRID AREA.  NOTHING OF SUPER CONSEQUENCE FOR SURE.  THE LID IS ALSO THERE.  PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICS AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF BEFORE BIDDING.  A HARD TO FIND PART  SO LOOK CLOSELY AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A GREAT DEAL.   ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, I AM RATING IT A 4,  based on age, rarity and condition.

I AM honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old parts have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend a lot of money for parts the best you can do are look for those in GOOD shape which this is.

HELLO FRIENDS.  JUST A QUICK NOTE. WE'VE SPENT QUITE A BIT OF TIME AT SOME OF THE MIDWEST'S LARGEST SWAP MEETS  SEARCHING FOR PARTS.  THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, AND NONE OF THESE.

SO LOOK CLOSELY AND BID IF YOU NEED IT.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY AND CAN HONESTLY TELL YOU THAT THERE ARE A NUMBER OF VEHICLES SOLD WITH LESS THAN PERFECT TRIM.   CHROME AND STAINLESS HAVE JUST BECOME SO EXPENSIVE.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 7 years of selling over a 3000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.  THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

THUNDER ROAD SALES INC NOT ONLY SEARCHES FOR AND SELLS VINTAGE PARTS BUT IS ALSO A KANSAS LICENSED USED CAR DEALERSHIP, SPECIALIZING IN FINDING LATE MODEL, QUALITY CARS, TRUCKS, MOTORCYCLES, HIGH LINE EXOTICS & CLASSIC VEHICLES. Lotus Evora by Mansory (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

Thu, 10 Feb 2011

In the avalanche of hype surrounding Lotus's future ambitions, the current range of Lotus vehicles has been largely overlooked. With this in mind, Lotus has turned to an unexpected source to inject some media buzz and visual freshness into the Evora for the 2011 Geneva motor show: Mansory. Under the slogan 'Is it always wise to customise? If you must then do it with some style' Lotus has commissioned Mansory to customise the Evora – continuing the run of controversial new moves that the firm has made under CEO Dany Bahar’s leadership. Mansory has applied its well-known carbonfibre fetish to the Lotus coupe, bringing the Evora closer to the edgy styling cues of design chief Donato Coco’s next-generation Lotus concept cars.

Ssangyong KEV2

Fri, 01 Apr 2011

Continuing Ssangyong's revival is another new car from the Korean company, the KEV2. Unveiled at the Seoul Motor Show, the KEV2 is an electric version of the company's outgoing Korando model. However, in the pursuit of diversifying the aesthetic between drivetrains, the KEV2 features a new DRG that sees the conventional grille lost and more aggressive, taught LED headlights replace the existing lamps.
