Selling as is a 1951 Chevy suburban. It’s an old forestry vehicle from South Dakota. I bought this in hopes to restore it but don’t have the time. The wife wants it gone. The guy I purchased it from had stubbed a camaro front clip to the original frame. He also swapped a camaro rear-end onto the original frame. I had thought of putting it on a S-10 frame the frame is included in this auction if you want it. The front seats are there as well as the second jump seat. The only good glass is the back window. There are dents in the fenders front and rear as well as in the tail gate but it’s all there. The body is pretty solid but is going to need bodywork. The metal you see in the two side windows is just siliconed in and comes out. What you see is what you get. If there is anything I missed or you would like more pictures please let me know and I will get them to you. Vehicle does not have a title bill of sale only. Local pickup only. The changes also usher in the higher-power 600bhp Speed model, which Bentley predicts will account for two-thirds of GTC sales. Earlier today we had the first real photos of the 2012 BMW M5, and now we get a completely undisguised Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster out playing in Hamburg. Of course, we’ve already seen the SLS Roadster without any disguise in the 2011 Super Bowl advert from Mercedes.
More executive upheaval as GM changes CFO
Thu, 10 Mar 2011Chris Liddell, the onetime executive hotshot hired from Microsoft and rumored to be a candidate for CEO, is leaving General Motors on April 1. The 52-year-old will be replaced by Dan Ammann, 38, who is GM’s treasurer. Liddell oversaw GM’s historic return to the stock market last year after its 2009 bankruptcy.
