Vauxhall Insignia facelift stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Ten years on from the very first Insignia concept, unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in 2003, Vauxhall is showcasing a new, facelifted Insignia here at Frankfurt 2013. Part of the update to the Insignia is a new internet connectivity feature, which should make life on the road for travelling professionals a bit easier – now you can locate your nearest non-VAT qualifying hot food snack retailer in next to no time… We’re also fans of the rationalised trim range, down from 14 grades to eight for the new car. Jalopnik and Drive host 'Livesketching with J Mays'

Ford's Chief Creative Officer, J. Mays is the subject of a 'Livesketching' interactive video, co-hosted by Drive on YouTube and Jalopnik. The Q&A, presented by designer Jason Torchinsky (himself no slouch with a Sharpie and a flip chart), gave the rare opportunity to quiz the creator of the Audi Avus concept, modern VW Beetle and Mustang and one of the major influencers behind Ford's design strategy.

Scion will add fourth vehicle

Scion plans to expand its model line from three vehicles to four. Also, Scion Vice President Jack Hollis said: "Within the next two years, we will have a replacement tC" coupe. The tC coupe will be nearly 7 years old when the redesign arrives, but such a long life cycle will not be the norm for Scion in the next decade.
