Morgan celebrates 100 years – and a new model

There aren’t many car makers around the world who have been in business for 100 years, and even fewer that have remained in the same family for all that time. But Morgan, that maker of anachronistic 1930s-style cars, is not only still going strong, it is celebrating its 100 year anniversary in 2009, and is now the only remaining British-owned car maker in existence (aside from the ‘Garden-Shed’ makers). We've seen the first TF LE500 models at Longbridge and we hear they will be in dealers soon, priced at around £16,000.  What's changed since the last 2005 cars? These early pre-prototypes look virtually unchanged, but now come with a body-coloured hard-top, leather seats, air-con and improved interior plastics as standard.The cars pictured here have the new standard-fit glass rear screen, wind deflector, 16in alloys in shadow chrome or satin-black finish and the new piano black interior trim and revised dials.

2013 GMC Terrain Denali priced from $35,350

The 2013 GMC Terrain Denali five-passenger SUV will have a base price of $35,350, including shipping charges. The 2013 Terrain is the latest GMC offering to get the luxury Denali trim, joining the Acadia Denali, the Sierra Denali pickup and the Yukon Denali. Pricing for the 2013 full model lineup hasn't been made available, but the 2012 Terrain ranges from a base price of $26,385 up to $32,085 for the top SLT-2 trim level.
