According to the part number, this is an original 1953 Buick hood ornament. It doesn't look exactly like the others I have seen, it has a rocket piece attached on the front of the 53 Buick base. It is in original used condition with pits in the chrome finish and would need to be restored for show quality. Please check the pictures and if interested, please bid early so you won't forget. Peugeot 308 CC – GT100 Limited edition sells out pre-launch

The Peugeot 308 CC launches in the UK on 1st June As an incentive to get buyers up and running quickly, Peugeot offered a very highly specced 308 CC – the GT100 Limited Edition – to the first 100 buyers in the UK, who not only got a lot more kit but also get their new cars ahead of the official launch. But, with a couple of weeks to go to the first regular cars hitting UK showrooms, Peugeot has announced that the 308 CC GT1 LE has sold out. Which is good news for them, but not so great for those hoping to get the extra kit.

Auction of Jay Leno tractor to benefit veterans

Bidders at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., this week have a chance to buy a vehicle being retired from entertainer Jay Leno's garage and support a charity that serves military families. The vehicle is a New Holland Boomer tractor. For the past five years, the staff at Leno's garage has used the "Lil Tug" to move the TV host's large collection of classic and unique cars around the facility.

RenaultSport Clio 200: Paris 2012

Renault hasĀ unveiledĀ the Clio RenaultSport 200 at the Paris Motor Show with a 1.6 litre turbo engine delivering 200bhp. The latest version of the Clio RS forgoes its naturally aspirated 2.0 litre engine for a turbo 1.6 litre delivering the same 200bhp but more torque – up more than 10 per cent. What dropping the 1.6 turbo has done to the Clio is make it more economical – Renault say it is 25 per cent more fuel efficient and, obviously, emissions drop comparably.
