Could the McLaren P13 get a Honda engine?

Wed, 22 May 2013

The McLaren P13 is due to arrive in 2015 and we’re expecting it to get a de-tuned version of the 3.8 litre V8 already found in the 12C (pictured above) and P1, and be priced to take on the almost empty sector (in terms of price) the Porsche 911 Turbo occupies - somewhere around £125k. The 2010 facelifted Toyota RAV4 will be at the Geneva Motor Show It’s inevitable that with only a couple of weeks to go until the Geneva Motor Show opens that announcements on new and facelifted cars are rolling in every day. This morning it’s Toyota with news that they’re taking the facelifted Toyota RAV4 to Geneva. Unfortunately, Toyota hasn’t seen fit to give us too many details.

Porsche 911 Black Edition (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

Tue, 25 Jan 2011

The current Porsche 911 isn’t dead yet – this is the run-out Black Edition special. Just 1911 examples will ever be built, and it’s loaded with extras to keep 911 sales ticking over until the all-new version is unveiled later this year. Unlike the Carrera GTS, which is the most focussed (and brilliant) 911 this side of a Porsche Motorsport product, the Black Edition is based on the entry level Carrera.
