Up for sale is a rare WORKING 1954 GMC truck radio. The unit has been reconditioned with all new capacitors. All tubes and 6 volt mechanical vibrator have been checked and are original. New cotton covered wires, knobs and face plate also replaced. This is a must for any one restoring there truck. There is some minor wear on the unit, but for an item that is over 60 years old, it looks pretty good and it only adds to it's originality. |

Mazda Biante Granz

Called the Granz, the vehivle a specially designed ‘high-roof' version of the mid-sized MPV – measuring in at just over 1800mm in height. Visually, the Granz takes stylistic influence from the Kodo design language – in particular, the ‘signature wing' on the front fascia.

Tue, 10 Dec 2013Germany plans to charge foreigners to drive on the Autobahn It seems Germany is planning to charge to use the Autobahn network – just as France does – but it plans to levy the charge just on foreign visitors. The plan is part of a deal by Angela Merkel’s Social Democrat party to form a new coalition and would see all non-German drivers paying a fixed toll to use the Autobahns. But the plan is coming under fire from neighbouring countries (Germany has borders with nine other countries) and even from its own version of the AA – the ADAC – who say the revenue likely to be raised – around £220 million – will do little to address the costs.
Local Motors Announces Texas Competition

The deadline for submissions is February 10, 2010. The brief, which asks entrants to design a dynamic and capable hunting vehicle for the gamers of the largest US state, stipulates that the vehicle should be a ready-made solution for hunters of every variety, whether hunting stags or fowl.
