Offered up here is a used original chrome-plated rear-view mounting bracket as used on ’55 ’56 & ’57 Chevrolet hardtop coupe, post-sedan and station wagon with Bel Air trim as well as Nomad.  


Also a direct replacement to upgrade the painted version originally installed on 150 210 Sport Coupe Del Ray Beauville Townsman Club Coupe Sedan Delivery Utility Sedan Handyman Station Wagon.


GM part number 4665459; I believe it shares the same physical dimensions as 4691188 and 4648652 but I cannot confirm that 100%.


This piece shows no cracks or other damage; plating shows a few scattered pits.  A little time spent polishing will give you a nice driver-quality part!

McLaren has locked out the front row for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza with Lewis Hamilton on pole and Jenson Button second. Lewis Hamilton grabbed pole position in Monza this afternoon for McLaren  in qualifying for the 2012 Italian Grand Prix, with a second place for Jenson Button locking out the front row for McLaren. It had looked throughout Q1 and Q2 that it would be Ferrari who were dominant and likely to take pole, but Alonso suffered a rear roll bar problem at the start of Q3 and ended at the bottom in tenth place.

Official: UK car production is booming

Nearly 10% MORE cars were produced in the UK this September compared to the same time last year, data released today from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has revealed What’s more, 1,125,433 cars were manufactured in the UK by the end of the month – that’s a 3.9% rise compared to 2012. September new car sales beat forecasts UK car sales hit four year high in 2012 This means UK car production has returned to pre-recession levels. The rolling 12-month total has now topped 1.5 million vehicles.
