This new  gearbox is a modern alternative to the popular but outdated 605 box. This box provides superior directional control and road feedback, as well as a more stable feel to the driver. The manufactuer engineered the recirculating ball gears for low friction and increased steering response. An open centered, rotary type valve provides smooth operation throughout the steering range while retaining excellent road feel. Our gear box has a bolt-on cap that allows Zero movement and a dependable, leak free seal. Notice that the mounting bosses are integrated into the casting, eliminating the need for an external bracket. Also, it will line up perfectly to your column without shims or spacers. Also, all other boxes on the market are rebuilt units. This is a Brand New box with a new housing, new internals, new gaskets, and seals.

BMW's N20 engine--four cylinders, more power

Fri, 18 Feb 2011

Before driving the BMW X1 xDrive28i, the first model to feature the German carmaker's new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, we weren't so sure. The new engine, known as the N20 and set to lead a return of four-cylinder BMW models to North America for the first time since 1998, has been conceived to (indirectly) replace the company's long-running naturally aspirated 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder.

Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger recalled to fix electric problem

Mon, 07 May 2012

Chrysler is recalling almost 120,000 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 sedans from the 2011 and 2012 model years to fix an electrical-system problem. The problem is with a fuse in the power-distribution center, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If the power center overheats it could lead to a loss of antilock brakes and electronic stability control, which could lead to a crash.
