This is an original emergency or hand brake cable opening cover and the attaching clip. This assembly was used on all 1955 thru 1957 Thunderbirds. The flat portion of the base is behind the firewall pad and the round head protrudes thru the firewall cover. It's held in place with a spring clip that fastens to the emergency brake platform. The cover is an assembly line original which was mad of a pressed fiberboard. Perfect for replacing a missing or damaged cover and clip.
