1955 Jaguar Mark Vii Parts Car on 2040-parts.com
Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, US
1955 Jaguar VII parts car.
This project car is a real barn find. From what I understand the previous owner had rebuilt the original engine 15 years ago. The owner's health was bad and he passed away.
It sat in his garage with no exposure to the weather. Comes with the original inline 6, 3.5 liter engine (same engine used in the XK 140 sports cars for many years) original automatic transmission, original seats, door panels, dash, glass, fender skirts and too much else to list
All aspects of the car are functional and many parts have been restored already... All original interior including a wooden dash is in good condition.
The wheels roll, and many of the parts are very solid. Floor pans and frame are solid. The car does have rust on the rocker panels below the doors, as seen in the pictures.
This is a non running car, and must be towed or put on trailer for removal.
I do have a clear title for the car
email with any questions

One Lap of the Web: Happy (belated) birthday, Sir Jack Brabham
Thu, 03 Apr 2014-- At the upcoming World's Greatest Sports Coupes exhibit, which opens April 10, the Petersen asked some well-known celebrities to pick their finest "two-seat, fixed-roof high performance car of all time," many of which they happen to own. Personally, we would have gone with the 1979 Ford Mustang, the Toyota Hilux Surf SSR Limited, or the Deathmobile from "Animal House." -- Quick, name a Japanese car that was designed by Italians. OK, the Isuzu Piazza.
Which Boss is Boss? We pit the original Mustang Boss 302 against the 1983 Ford Mustang GT
Mon, 24 Mar 2014The 1983 Ford Mustang GT wasn't an official follow-up to the Boss 302, but that didn't stop us from drawing the comparison in the Feb. 28, 1983 issue of Autoweek. Or putting the then-brand-new hot pony car to the test against its hallowed performance predecessor.
GM's Ed Welburn walks Jay Leno through the Elmiraj concept's design [w/Video]
Thu, 29 Aug 2013General Motors' vice president Global Design Ed Welburn stars in the latest of the 'Jay Leno's Garage' YouTube series, running the talk-show host through some of the new Cadillac Elmiraj concept's design features and what it means for the brand's future. We get a look at all the classic Cadillac design cues such as the vertical headlamps and tail lamps as well as the central hard crease that Welburn says is "important in every Cadillac". Leno and Welburn then move onto the Elmiraj's features, such as the large doors' integrated handles and the slimmer A-pillars before a more in-depth look at one of the concept's most striking features – the grille.
