1956 Pontiac Chassis Shop Manual, (copyright 1955) . It cover all 1956 series, including: Chieftain, Super Chief, Star Chief, Safari Wagons in all types like coupes and 4 doors, and Convertibles (models 860 and 870). and is in Excellent condition, pages in Excellent Plus shape, cover worn some.  This manual is a must have for the 1956 Pontiac owner.
It’s 13 plus Chapters include: General Info, Heating, Frame and Body mountings, Front and Rear Suspension, Differentials, Brakes, Engine (inc Cooling, Lube, Fuel, Tune Up, and Electrical), Tranny and Clutch, Fuel Tank & Exhaust, Steering (power and standard), Chassis Sheet Metal, Electrical & Instruments, and Accessories.  This 400+ page manual has all the exploded diagrams and pictures to make even the hardest repair seem easy. The detail and information is such that even the novice mechanic can tackle any maintenance and/or repair job!

the history of a particular make.   This is the Krause Publications' Standard Catalog series is available by specific marque, this one ...Pontiac, who had its start as the Oakland Auto Company. Each book contains in-depth profiles of specific makes by model, factory photos, and up-to-date vehicle pricing. "Techs & specs", original factory prices, production and serial numbers, and engine/chassis codes are noted by model, thus helping you determine authenticity accuracy.

The binding & cover are strong but with fraying and/or stains/marks on the cover. Good: The pages are all there, but with signs of much use. Some may be taped, slightly torn, or show a lot of greasy prints or dirt. The binding & cover are intact, but may be loose or has much fraying at the edges. Four million drivers aged over 70
Mon, 23 Sep 2013THE NUMBER of people aged over 70 who hold driving licences has exceeded four million for the first time, according to the RAC Foundation. The oldest licence holder is a 107-year-old woman, while there are 191 people aged over 100 who have licences. Once people reach 70 they must declare whether or not they are fit to drive every three years, without having to take a driving or medical examination.
