Attention: Cadillac enthusiasts, up for auction “OEM” 1956-57 Saginaw 62 series power steering pump brackets.  Power steering pump brackets were removed from a 1956 DeVille with a 365 cid engine and dual quads.  Pump brackets are in great condition, considering their 60 years old.  Pump brackets may be correct for other years, do your homework and you decide. Vintage Cadillac engine parts are getting very hard to find, don’t miss out.  Checkout my other auctions for more vintage Cadillac engine parts.  I’m clearing out 25 years of hoarding parts. E-mail with questions. Buyer pays actual shipping costs. Thanks for looking. Good luck.

Will combine shipping.

House narrowly passes scaled-back 'cash-for-clunkers' bill

Wed, 17 Jun 2009

The U.S. House on Tuesday narrowly passed a scaled-back version of a bill that would give consumers cash vouchers of between $3,500 and $4,500 if they trade in their cars for newer, more fuel-efficient vehicles. The $1 billion cash-for-guzzlers proposal, modeled after successful programs in Germany and other European countries, is part of a $106 billion supplemental spending measure designed mostly to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

MG6 – A new MG shows at Shanghai

Tue, 21 Apr 2009

The new MG6 is unveiled at Shanghai - coming to the UK in 2010 SAIC bought the rights to Rover when Rover fell apart after its sale by BMW for £10. But they didn’t secure all the rights to the ‘Rover’ name, so we won’t be seeing new Rovers by name, but instead we are to get a Rover 75 based MG – the first new MG launch since the ZS and ZT in 2001. Yesterday SAIC unveiled the new MG6, a sport hatchback based on the Rowe 550 (which is itself based on a shortened wheelbase Rover 75) and its destined to come to the UK next year.
