Part Number: RF301 USA made, reproduction dash pad for 1956 Ford Passenger car's. This pad was offered in 1956 by Ford Motor Company as part of the Lifeguard Safety Package. This was the first year of the padded dash offering by Ford and it was sold as optional equipment in that package. This dash pad will fit all 1956 Ford passenger models. To make this padded dash we create a mold from the steel dash shell removed from a factory vehicle. This ensures the foam will cure to the exact shape of the dash shell you will be installing it on. We go to great lengths to reproduce this dash pad correctly so that the installer will have success and satisfaction with the finished product. Our pads are not only beautiful in appearance but also have the same soft, flexible feel as when it came off the assembly line from Ford Motor Company in 1956. This is not a cheap solid urethane dash pad or dash cap. It is the real deal. We produce this pad with the correct Madrid grain PVC vinyl. We back fill this pad with 6 LB flexible foam. We purposely produced this pad with a vinyl skin that is ready for the top coat of your choosing. Some customers choose to install our black pads without additional top coats but others choose to spray them to the color of their choice. Don't be fooled by the reasonable cost of this pad.
