This is an NOS pair of door striker plates, Ford part #B6A 7022008-A and B6A 7022009-A. These striker plates are assembly line originals used on all 1956 Fords, Thunderbirds, Lincolns and Mercurys. It was replaced with a three piece design striker plate in 1957. They were used on both the front and rear doors on Ford passenger cars, Lincoln's and Mercurys. They are one of the CTCI excellence in authenticity items, perfect for a concours restoration! 'Gran Turismo' pays tribute to Senna with 'Ayrton's Wish'

We're finally starting to see the fruits of that labor -- a Senna-edition Playstation 3 bundle in Brazil notwithstanding. The first element of a month-long tribute from publisher Polyphony Digital is the above 20-minute film, "Ayrton's Wish." Two months before Imola, Ayrton told his sister Viviane that he wanted to give back to the country that so idolized him.

The Dune was the name given to the rugged-looking version of the Polo, sold in the UK between 2004-2008, and this Beetle follows the same formula.
