This is an NOS pair of door striker plates, Ford part #B6A 7022008-A and B6A 7022009-A. These striker plates are assembly line originals used on all 1956 Fords, Thunderbirds, Lincolns and Mercurys. It was replaced with a three piece design striker plate in 1957. They were used on both the front and rear doors on Ford passenger cars, Lincoln's and Mercurys. They are one of the CTCI excellence in authenticity items, perfect for a concours restoration! Heading the trio of experimental designs is the Concept GC-PHEV, a full-size SUV using a development of Mitsubishi’s plug-in hybrid drivetrain.
