THIS SALE IS FOR A COMPLETE HEATER SYSTEM THAT CAME OUT OF A 1956 PONTIAC SAFARI. THIS UNIT IS THE ONE THAT MOUNTS UNDER THE FRONT SEAT.THIS CAR WAS PARKED ABOUT A YEAR AND HALF AGO AND THE SYSTEM WORKED THEN. EVERY PIECE TO INSTALL THE HEATER IS THERE, BLOWER MOTOR, HEATER CORE WITH COVER, AIR BOX SYSTEM MOUNTED ON THE FIREWALL.FROM THE BLOWER MOTOR ON THE FIREWALL TO THE INTERIOR VENTS.  ALL THE PREFORMED LINES  WITH CLAMPS FROM THE FIREWALL TO THE CORE UNDER THE FLOOR, ALL THE CONTROLLS EXCEPT FROM THE LEVER ON THE DASH. THE COVER FOR THE CORE THAT  MOUNTS UNDER THE SEAT. THE UNIT HAS SURFACE RUST AND IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND CAN BE REFINISHED EASILY.NOTHING IS ROTTED THRU,DENTED OR BENT. I CANNOT GIVE A PRICE FOR FREIGHT UNTIL I KNOW THE ZIP CODE. IT WOULD TAKE SEVERAL BOXES TO MAKE THE SHIPPING COMPLETE. Donald Frey, a senior product planning manager at Ford Motor Co. in the 1960s who along with Hal Sperlich and Lee Iacocca developed the iconic Ford Mustang, died on March 5 in Evanston, Ill., from a stroke. He was 87 years old.
